JO STAFFORD Capitol Presents Jo Stafford ( UK 8-track 10" vinyl LP, also featuring The Starlighters & Paul Weston And His Orchestra, flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little edge scuffing and the vinyl remains in excellent c ondition with few signs of play LC).

From the late s through the s, it seemed that Paul Weston was everywhere. He arranged for Tommy Dorsey, then worked with Johnny Mercer and his crew when they founded Captitol Records. He was an arranger and accompanist for many of the top vocalists of the period - Mercer, Jo Stafford (whom he married), Doris Day, Frankie Laine, Lee 5/5(4).

Autumn in New York features terrific songs and even some show tunes that Jo Stafford recorded when she was at Capitol Records. On this CD we get all of the songs that were on the record album of the same name as this CD and then we also get quite a few bonus tracks and that's grand/5(9).
