I was looking for the Spinners CD for a very long time. I was so happy to find this one because it has all of the songs that I listened to when I was getting through some difficult times in the military. This CD has all the songs I would listen to repeatedly. The Spinners have a smooth, soulfulness and their music is timeless. Great CD!/5().

New and Improved is an absolute classic, yet it gets less run than some of their other LPs. Everything from the romanticism of "Smile We Have Each Other," a real tearjerker, to the self-assured, driven "I've Got to Make It on My Own" is on board, and.

the Spinners and the great harmony they had along with the great Thom Bell on production was a winning combination and these two tracks are timeless gems then and now. the sanging and the whole presentation sounded unlike anything else out on radio then, music that was as Soulful as Cornbread and butter dripping. the Spinners are one of the /5(11).
