The album kicks-off with the truly excellent "Enter Sandman", and along the way the particular highlights for me include "Wherever I May Roam" and the ballad "Nothing Else Matters". OK there are a couple of tracks that don't quite hit the spot for me but they aren't far off, so overall this metal album gets 5 stars from a non-metal fan/5(3).

It features Sad But True, So What, and a great live version of Harvester Of Sorrow from the legendary Moscow show 9/28/ This is NOT the CD with the elevator version of Nothing Else Matters. That is the single with the darker cover and you can actually see the snake eating at the Metallica logo.5/5(2).

We of course get the "regular" version of "Sad but True" which is taken directly off the "Metallica" album. We´re also treated to a demo version of that track, which is a fan thing more than anything. The real treats here are the re-arranged version of "Nothing Else Matters" titled "Nothing Else Matters (Elevator version)". This version has quite a few added strings and a couple of other surprises.

Feb 18,  · I bought this for the demo and elevator version of Nothing Else Matters. Sad but True sounds very good on this single. Im guessing they used an analog master for this release and original Black Album CD release. I have a issue of Black Album and the songs sound like they were digitally remastered but still sound good/5(26).

"Sad But True" é uma canção pela banda estadunidense de heavy metal Metallica. A canção foi lançada em , como o quinto single do álbum Metallica.. Foi uma das primeiras tentativas do Metallica de ajuste de guitarras para o tom mais grave, neste caso, o ajuste para o tom mais grave no padrão D. Eles usariam esta afinação mais tarde em seu cover de "Whiskey in the Jar" no álbum.
