Spreadin' Rhythm Around: Black Popular Songwriters, is a classic work on a little-studied subject in American music history: the contribution of African-American songwriters to the world of popular song. Even in lockdown Dinahs are Spreadin’ Rhythm Around! We challenged our Dinahs to choreograph, teach and perform a routine from their own homes in the space of just a few weeks! Dinahs choreographed a section each and then everyone learnt it independently. We are so proud of how creative, motivated and resourceful our Dinahs always seem to be.
