   Cracked Brain is the fourth full-length studio album by German thrash metal band Destruction, released in It is the band's only album to feature André Grieder of Poltergeist, replacing Schmier, who was fired after the initial sessions for the album. Also featured is a cover of The Knack song "My Sharona". Destruction formed in /5(1).

   Destruction's fourth full length album "Cracked Brain" is one of the most underrated thrash albums of all time. While Schmier may be gone, Andre Grieder has an unique vocal performance in comparison to Schmier. He has a much more noticeable rasp as he shouts and screams like he is in a constant state of pain. Mike has a wonderful performance as well.

   Destruction - Cracked Brain review: Whilst Cracked Brain retains a great deal of technical flair from Release From Agony, a more upbeat tone to the songs leads to it being somewhat awkward in comparison. This ultimately leads to what is effectively a mismatch in sound where the more upbeat nature of tracks like Frustration and Time Must End.
