When all is said and done, Temple of Plenty has everything I could ask for from a record in this particular genre. It has emotionally stimulating lyrics, the instrumentation is top-notch for its style, and there’s virtually no filler to be found.

It is no surprise, then, that Somos' debut full-length, Temple of Plenty, is more enormous and more powerful than its predecessor, though they replace the scorching, sharp chords with a smoother, more expansive sound.

TEMPLE's lone LP was recorded between ''76 and consists of five tracks (two of which are composed of two songs connected such as "Leaves Are Falling"/"Black Light") which sound like a mixture of CAN ("Landed", "Flow Motion"-era) mixed with ''76 period HAWKWIND with a dose of AMON DUUL II throw in. Factor in TEMPLE's own uniquely brilliant Missing: Domestic.
