Sounding like a cross between George Harrison and Van Morrison's respective '70s solo careers, Gerry Rafferty's "Bring It All Home" is a staggering (in the "looped" sense), semi-bluesy piece of soft rock featuring a Morrison-style repeat-the-line hook and some truly over the top sax playing by Raphael Ravenscroft, who plays pretty much non-stop throughout the entire four minutes and forty seconds, .

Lyrics to 'Right Down the Line' by Gerry Rafferty: You know I need your love, you got that hold over me Long as I got your love, you know that I'll never leave When I wanted you to share my life, I had no doubt in my mind And it's been you, woman, right down the line.

Lyrics to 'Bring It All Home' by Gerry Rafferty. I was lost on an endless sea Going down, going down, going down on an endless sea Sail with the wind, you weather the storm You bring it all home, bring it all home, you bring it all home.

Right Down the Line: The Best of Gerry Rafferty is an imperfect track collection of the singer/songwriter's '70s and '80s albums that favors obscure album tracks to actual hits.7/

"Right Down the Line" is a song written and recorded by Scottish singer-songwriter Gerry Rafferty. Released as a single in mid, it reached #12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot and #8 on Cash Box. It was the second release from Rafferty's City to City LP as the follow-up to his first major hit as a solo artist, "Baker Street".

This Gerry Rafferty compilation is pretty good. Yeah it may not have all of his actual hits, but there is a good variety of hits and favorites and the track ordering is done very well. "Baker Street" and "Bring it all Home" are re-recordings, but are they really that bad?/5().
